So when they were in Skaftafell they went to the yearly gathering og the guillemot eggs, which takes place in Ingolfshofdi, where a guy is lowered slowly over a cliff to gather the eggs. The harvest this time was 1135 eggs. Luckily, Nonni decided against giving it a try, because to me, although this is the traditional way, it is not the safest way of doing it, or as Rachael (Leah's friend) said: why didn't they just tie the rope around a tree?
