Peter with his best friend and Jonatan with his best friend.

I haven´t written or put any pictures on my blog for a while, even though I have taken many. One of the reasons is that I have been looking again and again at the pictures from Italy and there are just to many of them that I like. So I decided to put them on in a few series. This one is called the food and drink serie, because it is a HUGE part of making or breaking a vacation with 9 Belgians and an Icelander who likes food. So enjoy! Posted by Picasa

Mama, Papa (Luigi) e Alberto, the pub keeper in Torrita di Siena who welcomed my father as a long lost friend, immediately when he stepped into the piazza... unbelievable! Posted by Picasa

This picture is from Pienze. The shop was really exquisite, and had all sorts of antique inside, old bicycles etc.  Posted by Picasa

It is not only the food which is important, the service has to be good too!  Posted by Picasa

This was truly "home" made pizza, bought at a regular house from a "typical" italian woman close from where our farmhouse was. The woman was so glad we bought so much, we made her day (we think)! Posted by Picasa

The pizzas in the beautiful garden restaurant. Look at the size of the pizzas! Posted by Picasa
